Description - : The Large Jumping spider appears to be a common jumping spider, yet huge in size. This Spider is exactly like the common jumping spider but huge. They range in a variety of different colored patterns. They are quite beautiful and intimidating spiders, and are graceful movers. The Giant Jumping Spider can move along walls and ceilings as well as it can on a flat surfaced floor.

Disposition - : This creature is constantly roaming nature is quite unnerving.

This spider spins webbing, but not to created a nest, as other spider's do. As it travels across surfaces, it will create we anchors in case it falls.

 

Special Abilities:

Can climb as easily on a vertical surface as a horizontal surface. Even on smooth surfaces, this spider can move at 1/2 its normal movement.

Special Offenses:

Armor Penetration: The fangs of a Large Jumping Spider will penetrate past armor types without damaging the armor when a maximum-strike occurs (spider rolls an offensive attack that hits for +30 over the defensive roll of its prey).

 

Remember: Poison will only be injected on a strike causing 50%+ damage.

Also: Players need to remember to check armor's chance to turn needle attacks. This may yet save them from being poisoned.

 

Susceptibilities and Weaknesses: Excess red lighting disrupts this creature's perception of distance and location of targeted prey (an "Awareness (Vision)" check must be successful, or a penalty of -60 to offence will be enforced on this spider's attack-roll (vision = the %Chance) . In essence, red light blinds this spider's ability to accurately perceive the exact location of intended prey.
